ZLATAN IS MAIN THREAT

Roma goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg has said that AC Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic will be the biggest threat they will be facing when the two sides met each other during this weekend.

AC Milan will be hosting Roma at the San Siro knowing that they can briefly go seven points clear of the second placed team Juventus, who do not play until Sunday. Zlatan Ibrahimovic comes into the match after having scored a hat-trick against Palermo, which has raised his goal tally for the season in the league to 18.

He was one of the chief reasons for the club in winning the title last season, and he remains the same this season as well.

As a result, the AS Roma goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg has said that Roma should focus more on containing Zlatan Ibrahimovic more than anything else. Even though the 18 league goals scored by the Swedish striker may seem a little low in comparison with players like Robin van Persie and Lionel Messi, who have scored around 34 goals in the league alone, Ibrahimovic has been responsible for creating a lot of the AC Milan goals this season. He has been the chief architect in the club's ambition to win the title this season.

"Ibrahimovic is a very strong player who always scores plenty of goals. He has won league titles with several big clubs and I think he is one of the best players in the world. I disagree with those who say that he is decisive in the league, but not in Europe. I don't know why people would say that. I would always want Zlatan in my team. ," Stekelenburg said to Italian tabloid Corriere dello Sport. Roma are currently in the sixth position in the table – 3 points ahead of seventh placed Inter Milan.
